Make Your Own Homemade Carp Fishing Bait - Choosing Cool Ingredients
By Tim F. Richardson * 'Homemade' is a funny word as it can imply 'simple or basic', but when applied to making carp or catfish bait, the subject certainly deserves far more explanation for optimum results and catches! Bait really has a single end function; to get the fishing hook into the carps mouth, so giving the opportunity for it to be hooked! To achieve this, the bait needs either: To emit a recognizable carp food signal, or stimulate carp curiosity.
Be representative of, or a mimic of a natural food source. Carp are curious and will examine any new potential food item they come across. Whether paste / dough or boilies, it needs to be resilient enough to be put on the hook or hair, for it to withstand the fishes attention and enter the mouth. Boilie baits are the more scientifically proven kind that have evolved from the days of the Specials baits. These were often based on ground - up dog, cat, fish foods and farm animal foods in pellet, biscuit and tinned form. They were bound together with eggs, and fished as pastes. In the 1950 to the early 1970s these were often fished free lined with big hooks, with no weight, and individual baits could be the size of an orange, in order to deter bait-whittling smaller fish! Other common kitchen type ingredients were also incorporated to enhance paste effectiveness like minced tinned fish, curry powder, bottled condiment sources, yeast powders, milk powders, grated cheese, salt and pepper, herbs, yeast extract, cake baking flavours, whole - wheat flour, corn flour, bird foods, ground fish meal pellets, and animal / pet food pellets, beans, peas, seeds, and many food oils have been used; many of which have proved themselves. Many, in original or extract form, are still used in baits today. Baits were originally boiled to allow them to be thrown much further out into the water, as carp moved out in response to increased angling pressure and tackle improvements. The fact that nearly every other fish that swims with carp can eat boilies, has shown that the hard skinned boilie idea didnt really work. In fact many species, like big roach, tench, bream, catfish etc, seem to use boilies as part of their staple diets and their improved growth rates can attest to this fact. The ideal average size established for boilies used to be a recommended 15 millimeters in diameter, although today highly pressured waters often see better results on much smaller sizes and some do very well on even 35 millimeter ones as have done in the UK and France. If you were an average carp angler, fishing in around 1980 in the UK, then you were most likely still experimenting with many of these ingredients, to give you an edge over those pesky carp! However, there were an advanced minority, who kept the latest bait and rig secret developments private among themselves, and pockets of carp anglers developed different edges and formulas which could totally out - fish the old specials. This was because they were based upon, and maximized, scientifically proven data, on the carp dietary preference mechanism! Understanding the scientifically proven carp data, on the carps dietary preference mechanism and baits designed on this basis, resulted in more highly nutritionally balanced baits. So giving carp the maximum energy and dietary requirements, for the least cost in effort! The real missing ingredient, for very many carp anglers, even today, is in understanding why a carp eats any of these carp boilie foods at all! And why carp can actually prefer some baits to the exclusion of all the rest! This is an important area I feel, that has been neglected, leaving many modern carp anglers with less understanding of the baits available to him and how best to choose how and when to use them, because this can be a very important edge in itself! Also I feel it is as important to really understand why your shop-bought bait catches and doesnt catch in different circumstances, seasonal and weather conditions, and different at types of waters. Of course it is not vital to know, or understand these things to catch carp. But only the most exceptional outstanding anglers catch big carp consistently, using a normal number of fishing hours to achieve this. Compared to the average majority, who are usually those having taken up carp fishing in the last 5 to 15 years or so and often to struggle to maintain big fish catches consistency all year round unlike much more experienced and bait wise anglers. So I feel it is important to help explain how to become more satisfied and consistent in your carp fishing, because these days it can be a large sacrifice, both in time and money, to pursue this sport. I believe, especially newer carp anglers, need impartial guidance when it comes to the importance of bait (often a complete afterthought!), when frequently thousands of pounds have been spent on carp fishing tackle! An introduction to the boilie ingredients: Boilies are usually made using dry mixture ingredients of either 500 grammes or 1 pound. Using a combination of natural and synthetic materials, bait may be bound together usually with eggs, to form dough balls or shapes. The most effective size and dimensions vary depending upon your fishing situation, and could be 8 to 30 millimeters plus. (Never underestimate how fish preferences alter over time and even at different times during a session!) It pays to make different sizes, shapes, and densities boilies: this helps take away a danger reference point, i.e., it stops the fish recognizing it and fools the carp into eating the hook bait with the hook (which is the point, isnt it?!) Boilies have conventionally been and are often labeled in terms of the food group which forms the majority percentage of the bait, i.e.: Milk protein (whole milk and its derivatives.)
Carrier carbohydrate (soya flour / semolina.)
Bird foods (seed mixes, rearing foods and extracts, etc.)
Fishmeal (ground trout pellets, oily fish meals, crustacean meals, seafood extracts, etc.)
Meat meals (beef, poultry, pork flakes, hydrolyzed feather meal, etc.)
And so on Of course, these labels are misleading to some folks these days because baits have become more complex. The benefits of mixing the nutrients of different food groups in the same bait mix, means there may be no single food group in any given bait! So how do you choose which ingredients to use, which ratios of these to use and why? The first step is commonly practicality; can you put these things together into a dough or paste, to produce a boilie mix that will bind together and roll well? To produce a boilie from various ingredients without instructions on ratios of each ingredient takes some preliminary testing. So it is wise to start by using one large hens egg (or similar), mixed with a small amount of any liquid ingredients, to confirm that your test dry ingredients when mixed actually bind and roll well into balls to make boiled baits. If not, add more egg, a small amount of vegetable oil or binding material. Ideally start by putting the carps dietary needs first when making bait, and begin with the bulk whole protein food content of ingredients at 25 % to 50 % of your preliminary 100 % dry mixture. Such examples used could be combinations of some of the following: caseins, lactalbumin, fish meals, meat meals, whey protein. Usually you will require a binding material to hold the protein food together in the bait. This may require using dry binding ingredients like semolina, wheat gluten, wheat flour, soya flour etc for up to 50 % of the mix, necessary for many types of coarse bird food meals, shellfish meals, meat and fish meals. Different bait materials will alter this approximate ratio, but use the ratio that rolls first! and increase the protein content from there (Using eggs / egg powder to bind your bait, adds a great nutritional added profile as a complete protein food.) Examples of binders: Hens eggs.
Egg powder.
Whey gel.
Bread crumbs.
Full fat yellow semolina.
Maize meal.
Corn starch.
Potato starch.
White ground rice flour.
Wheat flour.
Wheat gluten.
Potato gluten.
Full fat soya flour.
Ground seeds.
Ground Sluis CLO.
Ground EMP.
Ground CeDe.
Ground Red band pigeon seed mix.
Beef gelatin based binding products. Some of the most effective attraction of your bait comes from the water soluble fraction of particular ingredients used. Ingredients with this characteristic content could constitute 10 % up to 30 % of the mix. Making a resilient practical boilie mix may require the addition or reduction of only one ingredient. Some of the best baits you will ever discover are made by this trial and error process. The solubility of ingredients is especially recommended if an ingredient has high protein value, such as sodium and calcium caseinates, calf milk replacers, whole milk powder, yeast powder, hydrolyzed fish and shellfish proteins etc... Some are used at much lower levels, e.g. 0.2 % to 6 % ; e.g., hydrolyzed fish protein, hydrolyzed spirulina extract, squid extract, anchovy extract, green crab / lobster / scallop / shrimp / oyster / baby clam extracts, green lip mussel extract etc. These are also effective as most are extremely quickly and efficiently digested with immediate benefits that the carp can feel. I prefer to fresh freeze baits, or air dry them naturally, or preserve them in a flavour / amino acid / supplement compound, rather than using a chemical preservative in the bait like ascorbic acid. Carp require oils (essential fatty acids) but only in small amounts e.g., up to 5 % of your total dry mix. Oily fish meals and shellfish meals are already rich in these, as are flax seed, hemp seed, sesame seeds, salmon oil, cod liver oil, crustacean oil, etc. To meet minimum carp dietary requirements try adding perhaps around 1 milliliter to 3 milliliters of a good quality nutritional oil per egg, (maximum,) depending on oil level in the dry mix. At times of year when water temperatures drop below 55 Fahrenheit / 13 Degrees Celsius, its sensible to drop the oil levels used or use emulsified oil. It also pays to reduce some of your whole protein food content and substitute it with e.g., 3 ounces of wheat germ; this is a proven method of improving the biological conversion of your bait inside the carp by making your bait more carp digestible Carp love to crunch food and in doing so send out all kinds of feeding signals to other carp, allowing attractive food particles to pass out of the gills. Nutritional ingredients can be used for this effect, e.g. bird foods Robin Red, Red Factor,Nectarblend, Ground Red Band pigeon food, prepared ground mixed nuts and seeds; prepared tiger nuts and hempseed, millet, egg - biscuit myna - bird rearing food, niger seeds, RRR, ground birdseeds Ce De, PTX, ground insects, dried larvae, coarse kelp meal etc. Also used are crushed oyster shell and eggshell. These also allow bait to release attractors faster, putting more out to attract carp quicker and more effectively, especially in lower water temperatures. They also help the fish to eat more bait by helping them pass it through their systems faster. Test each individually because their properties vary. Use, e.g., 0.5 ounces per pound for shell through to e.g., 2 ounces per pound of course kelp meal, to e.g., 3 ounces per pound of Robin Red, ground birdseed e.g., 6 ounces per pound, up to 8 ounces per pound of Nectar Blend. Here are some examples of recognized nutritional bird food ingredients: PTX.

or in a very soluble bait to bind it tighter e.g., whey gel at 3 ounces per pound, or make it harder, e.g. blood powder at e.g. 4 ounces per pound, egg albumin at e.g., 2 ounces per pound, whole egg powder at, e.g., 3 ounces per pound, or whey gel, e.g., 1 ounce per pound. To avoid silt / to make baits more buoyant, include ingredients like sodium caseinate, e.g. 5 ounces per pound, or shrimp meal, e.g. 3 ounces per pound or krill meal at e.g., 3 ounces per pound. Vitamins and minerals are great attractors too, being essential for carp health and growth. Many of the above extracts supply these, but they leach out of bait very fast. Adding black strap molasses, betaine hydrochloride to the mix and as liquid soak really help. Other ingredients can be added in very low levels to enhance your bait, or give it an extra special attractive note e.g., 1 teaspoon per pound, of powdered taste enhancer, sea salt, or sweeteners like sodium saccharin and fishing company proprietary brands liquid and powdered sweeteners with no chemical back taste. When you mix new ingredients together always test your mixture first. Try using one egg as a binder, to see if you have your ratios right for practical binding and rolling purposes. Always prepare your wet ingredients first and add dry ingredients to the wet ones gradually as you become accustomed to the ingredients youre using, this part will become simple! You can refine your baits nutritional profile content, attraction properties and additional practical physical properties, as you become more familiar with getting a practical bait together; that works right for you and catches carp consistently! Odds Are You Will Attract A Woman At Some Point No Matter What You Do
By Teddy Shabba If you go out and do stuff often, at some point you are going to meet a woman who really, really likes you no matter what you do. For whatever reason, the two of you click and not only are you happy, but she is happy as well. Now, if you have already bought some products on attraction or seduction you will think that it played a part in your success. Even though, the majority of people who buy these products only briefly read the material, if at all. If you hadn't bought any products you will think that your success had everything to do with you. Even though, at no time before her had you experienced any kind of success with women and she is the only one you got. The truth is both would be right and if they find themselves living happily ever after then life is good and it really doesn't matter. Yet, for every other man out there who is single and looking it is important that you understand. You must do something besides watching the world go by, because that is not the way to live right now. Internet Dating - How To Attract Women By Creating Subtle Mystery
By Grant Adams Here's a giant tip if you are dating online: Dont tell her where you live. Dont tell her exactly what you do. Dont answer any of her questions comprehensively or directly. At least not at first. And she will be drawn into the mystery of you. Instead, suggest how you FEEL about where you live. Find a sensual way of saying it something about the trees outside the window, the smell of the jasmine outside, your cool neighbors, how you can go running out your door into hills, near a park. Create a vision into which she can project herself. Dont give the name of your neighborhood. Thats boring - it allows her to pigeon-hole you, to stereotype you by the reputation of the neighborhood or town Labels close doors. Mystery, however, makes her want to open them. Lets take, for example, your occupation. Women want to know what you do for a living, and most guys will just blather out their job title right away. Why? Dont be her plaything; instead you should play with her need. One effective way of doing this is to communicate not what you do, but how you do it. And, most importantly, how you serve others and give the gift of who you are. Because nothing is sexier to a real woman than a man who lives in service to others. If you can, describe what you do by how you serve. You will trigger a level of admiration from women reading your profile that is primal and powerful. You dont have to be a Senator or a Nascar Driver or a Fire Captain to communicate how you help others. Are you a carpenter? Then, say "I help people love their homes." An Accountant ? Then say, "I help people keep their lives together so they can enjoy it stress-free." In Advertising or Marketing? "I fire up peoples imaginations." Not only will this approach trigger her sense of you as a leader and giver in your community, but everything you give, she will feel as if youll be giving that to her. She is going to insert herself into the movie of your life anyway, so direct the coming-attractions trailer as appealingly as possible. You will answer her directly about your job and its title, but only once youre sitting across the table from her in person. Never before. Captain your own ship. Know your own purpose. If you project in your profile that you are measured, controlled, limited, unmysterious, parcelled out, tiny, small or bounded in any way, you lose your power and your mysterious wholeness. If you hand over all your information, you will turn women off, because the truth is that even you dont know your mysterious wholeness! If she is any kind of woman she will end up teaching you things about yourself you dont know. So why try to bore her with a pale imitation of something you dont even have a full grip on? Heres another idea, though it may seem small and subtle. Dont give her your name early on. Dont name your profile with your name. How do you know that a "Howard" didnt harass her at age 12, or a "Bill" didnt bully her in 3rd grade. I always sign my first email responses with just first initial of my name until they ask if theres any more to my name. Giving her just my initial keeps her moving towards me. Most women take it as a tease, as a come-on. Only after you have them moving toward you should you tell them. Maintaining mystery -- even of the subtlest kind -- changes the dynamic of the chase. Now, she is now chasing you! Grant Adams is the worlds leading Internet Dating Guru, and the creator of the Net2Bed-Net2Wed System Manual. Finding Garden Benches: Get the Perfect Look for Your Garden
By Anne Clarke Many outdoor benches are multi-purpose, for example, they can be used in city parks, in malls, as well as serving as great garden benches. In this article I will provide some examples of the many types and styles of garden benches available. However, there are even more than these to choose from: Standard garden and park bench:
This kind of bench is sold most commonly six feet in length, but that is also available as short as four feet, redefines the traditional park bench style. The bench has a flat long seat and a wooden frame and legs. There is a gap between the bench seat and the bench seat back, however this is a very comfortable type of garden bench. Deluxe park and garden benches:
Deluxe park and garden benches offer all the benefits of the standard benches, but add a graceful contour. Therefore your garden bench will be able to fit all body styles comfortably. The more comfortable the make, the easier it is for you to relax and enjoy your garden. Elite park and garden benches:
These garden benches have a cultivated architectural form. They hold their high quality condition in bad weather, and are virtually maintenance free. They are made with a sustainable recycled plastic construction. They will add a touch of personal taste and beauty to your garden. And they are long lasting as well. Contour park and garden benches:
Contour park and garden benches are constructed with sturdy type of recycled plastic lumber, and this lumber is firmly fastened to a heavy steel frame. Like all of the other benches I have mentioned, and those that I will mention, the size of the bench usually ranges between four and eight feet in length so you can purchase the perfect fit. These garden benches are not only pleasing to the eye but comfortable and stylish too. Monarque park and garden benches:
This kind of garden bench is designed for those who require a lighter form of garden bench. However, they are very popular and nice to look at, as well as being a nice to rest in your garden. Standard park, mall and garden benches:
Standard garden benches provide bench space with no extra frills. It is just garden seating with simplistic design. And this design allows the garden bench to complement virtually any architectural style surrounding it. Deluxe mall, park and garden benches:
Deluxe mall, park and garden benches are available for more up-scale applications. Still using recycled plastic construction and maintenance free features, these garden benches are matched with aesthetics to be an attractive addition to any garden setting. Elite mall, park and garden benches:
These elite mall, park and garden benches are designed with a slatted seat assembly that offers the look of freshly treated exotic wood. Wooden benches are very attractive in your garden, and these come especially designed to be long lasting, do not require maintenance and are splinter free. No up-scale garden should be without a bench with this kind of elegant and luxurious design. No matter what size you need. Remember, because the garden benches I have mentioned are suitable for many purposes, you should choose the size of your bench based on where you want to put it, and assess how it will look in any specific place or places in your garden. Measure the perfect length for your garden benches to be before making any purchase, and choose the style that best fits your garden and you. Ohio-Related Gift Basket Ideas
By Wendy Wood In the Midwest, Ohio is part of the Great Lakes region, which has a history dotted with deep cultural and geographic significance. With a distinct beauty scattered about the state, even the meaning of its name refers to the natural attractiveness as Ohio means "beautiful river" or "large creek" from the Seneca language. As you brainstorm for gift basket ideas, you will encounter interesting details associated with the state, including well-known consumer products, including Day-Glo paints, and Smuckers jams and jellies. Ohio allows gift basket makers to tap into the sports teams that call the state their home. Representing Major League Baseball, the Cincinnati Reds and the Cleveland Indians allow designers to utilize an assortment of red, black, gray, and white decorative accents. An NFL Cincinnati Bengals-themed gift basket will offer the colors of black, orange, and white, while the Cleveland Browns present brown, orange, and white shades for basket decoration. A basketball-themed gift basket should focus on the colors of wine, gold, white, and navy blue for the Cleveland Cavaliers, who have yet to win a championship for Ohio. To prepare a Discover Ohio gift basket, you may want to draw from some of the residents and natives associated with the state. For instance, Cincinnati serves as the birthplace of Harriet Beecher Stowe, who authored "Uncle Tom's Cabin," and pop artist, Tom Wesselmann. Born in Lorain, a gift basket carrying a host of Toni Morrison novels and movie adaptations may include "The Bluest Eye" and "Beloved," which won the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction. Print postcards of the paintings created by William Jacob Baer and Robert Henri may enter an art-inspired gift basket. Gift basket recipients of all ages will enjoy an arrangement that offers the creativity of Bill Watterson, the cartoonist who brought the lovable pair, Calvin and Hobbes to the forefront of the Sunday comics. And, dont forget the Kettering/Dayton native, Nancy Cartwright, who breathes life into the Simpson characters, such as the star of the show, Bart Simpson. She even voices the giggles and other sounds of his sister, Maggie. Additional gift basket ideas to consider may come from the state symbols associated with Ohio, such as the cardinal (state bird) and the scarlet carnation (state flower). The ladybug serves as the state insect, which could provide the fuel to create a colorful Summertime Fun gift basket that focuses on lemonade mixes and accessories. The colors of the ladybug, as well as their appearance could make an inviting gift basket theme. To create a Day of Hunting gift basket, you may include some of the popular on-the-go snacks that will easily come in handy for a full day in the woods. This type of basket may also make mention of the state animal, which is the white-tailed deer. Wendy Wood is the owner of Seek Gift Baskets, an online gift basket directory.

STAGE 3 - The Worst Part of a Relationship - The War of Wills(C)
By Elaine Sihera The first part of this familiarisation stage is basically a war of wills. Each individual, being used to doing things his/her way, must now try their hardest to adjust to the ways of their partner. Each one will attempt to force the other to fit their expectations for the relationship, even though these may be unspoken and highly unrealistic. Because of the conflict involved in this counterdependent stage (mutual independence), we are now likely to see our partner more negatively than others would, a complete reversal of the besotment stage. The reasons we were unconsciously attracted to them in the first place may become the very irritants we now moan about, like a woman complaining that her once carefree husband is really irresponsible. At this stage arguments are bound to emerge. For example, the very things my husband loved me for at the beginning (looks, being a rebel and fiercely independent) are precisely the ones which grated on him at the end because he began to resent my growing confidence and success. Conflict kept within proper boundaries usually leads to greater understanding between spouses and the problem being resolved. However, if couples allow their arguments to degenerate into endless criticisms of one another and character assassination, the arguments soon strike at the very core of the other person and are strongly resisted. Such arguments are most destructive and painful precisely because they destroy the sense of trust and intimacy that has been built up. If arguments regularly lead to personal attacks, over time a couple will consider the atmosphere unsafe for openly discussing their inner desires, fears and needs, which means less and less talk exactly what happened to us. The only antidote to this destructive kind of act is to take turns listening to each other, to refrain from personal attacks and unending blame and be willing to risk speaking directly about genuine concerns. This familiarisation stage in the relationship is necessary in order to relate to each other as individuals; to see the union as an opportunity to journey together; to learn how to serve each others needs; to fight fairly and to allow win/win situations with dignity, while guarding individuality. Differing Perspectives of Progression
Another source of conflict here is the possibility that one partner, who might fear commitment, is still in the attraction/besotment mode while the other has graduated to this territorial phase, seeking more stability and reinforcement. This mismatch can be painful for both parties, especially if any remedial action (like giving gifts to compensate or being too flippant or lighthearted) is perceived as not really addressing the issues, or are meant to be controlling the other partner even more perceptions which are likely to lead to a demand for even more space between the couple! At this stage winning and being right becomes more important than working together and building the loving, fulfilling relationship you both want. Demonstrations of love, respect and appreciation decline and might even disappear, first from neglect and then from hurt feelings. If enough distress builds up, you may just avoid your partner as much as you can. Or you may turn to something else: to work, to children, or any possible thing to meet your needs and avoid the distress. For some couples this stage can get to the point of desperation where theyve tried everything they know and it seems the only option is to get out of the relationship temporarily or permanently. But conflict can be a door to healing and personal growth because conflict is not the problem it has a root cause. What you do with it can be the big problem and finding a new partner often does not solve the problem either. If disagreements have not been addressed, you are likely to recreate the same problems and climate because of the expectations you carry with you and the type of person these are likely to attract. For example, if you tend to attract abusive types, specific problems relating to such a match are likely to repeat themselves in every relationship you have, especially if the roots of such problems are not addressed with honesty as early as possible. Innocent Suffering - Why Does God Permit It?
By Chris DeSalvo Our world contains excessive physical and psychological suffering by innocent persons. Billions suffer from illness, birth defects, predatory animals, natural calamities and human cruelty. How can a loving, merciful God allow such misery? Some level of physical pain or mental anguish is necessary so when we are injured or ill, thirsty or hungry, too hot or too cold, we can react. Worry helps us avoid potential future disasters. But few deny that more human suffering exists than is necessary. The mystery of human suffering is like many other mysteries that must be accepted on faith. But not blind faith. Before faith must come reason. Use of reason to observe, study, discuss and develop understanding convinces one that God exists well beyond reasonable doubt. Those who demand unreasonable amounts of evidence exhibit conceit, a huge barrier to belief. Humans feel compassion for sufferers, and most would eliminate suffering if possible. Charles Darwin favored evolution primarily because he could not accept that an omnipotent and all-good God (his definition of God) would create a world with so much unnecessary suffering. Darwin's imagination couldn't reach beyond human perspectives to sense that within God's greater intellect, suffering is not always evil. Humans who criticize God's supposedly bad behavior exhibit enormous conceit. Who are we to demand that God conform to our standards of behavior? What do we know of God's motives? Only what God chooses to reveal. Even if God revealed more, could we understand? Can an ant understand poetry, music, art, love, beauty, hope and philosophy? Should an ant define proper behavior for humans? Do we accept criticism from our three-year-old child who cannot understand why he must suffer an inoculation against polio? Would we accept criticism from a neutered pet dog? Modern secularists live to gain pleasure and to avoid suffering, even inconvenience. To them a God who prizes suffering is beyond understanding. Yes, they say, some suffering caused by human cruelty may result from human free will, and suffering caused by natural events may be essential to operation of the universe. Also, God might require some suffering to test human behavior. But surely free will, natural actions and Gods tests don't require all the suffering we see. But God, as Jesus, was born a human, permitted himself to be beaten nearly to death, to be tormented and crucified. Why? For us, His creations? Would you suffer as Jesus did to save the life of a child? -- or a cat? God suffered and died for love of us. Why that had to be we dont know, but we can marvel that God would do it. Obviously, God reveres a willingness to suffer. Clearly, God wants suffering, demands suffering, and creates suffering, as He deems appropriate. So should humans seek suffering, should they not bind wounds, not take medicines, not visit physicians, stop medical research? No! We should continue to be merciful to ourselves and to others -- as Jesus was. God will determine when, where, to whom and the level of suffering that should occur. Like murder, sometimes suffering is justified. Every human will suffer. It may be minor; it may be unbearable. Perhaps that suffering, and how one reacts, will influence a reward after death. We should face suffering with humility, acceptance, and without hatred for God. What is my message? Study all major evidence and arguments regarding God, and satisfy yourself, beyond reasonable doubt, that God exists. Then accept that God wants suffering in the universe. We don't know why. God suffered for us on the Cross, and we don't know why. We are far below God in intelligence and knowledge. We should not judge God by human standards. As children of God, we should humbly accept whatever suffering God gives us, and have faith that His actions are for our ultimate benefit. C DeSalvo is an author who resides in Colorado.
